TRENTON, N.J. -(Feb 24, 2010) – Tektite Industries, Inc., the Trenton-based parent company of TEKNA, the beloved US-based knife and flashlight company, has taken to steps to resume full production of TEKNA’s longstanding line of knives and flashlights following the major acquisition of tooling equipment.

“Interest in TEKNA’s award-winning product line remains high and we have taken steps to satisfy that interest,” said Tektite/TEKNA President Scott Mele. “From the Hidden Edge to the Security Card, to the Wilderness Edge and Xtra Edge, all will be in full production following TEKNA and Tektite’s historic purchase of the necessary production equipment.”
